The cashiers are always friendly and helpful and if there is ever a question about a price they will actually take the time to check and honor the posted price. (Just remember to bring your own bags it's kind of like Aldi where you need to bring your own bags or pay for them there.) ”
“ Welcome to the insane asylum of Super Markets, it's just nuts inside this place but I head there if I'm going through South Allentown because you can pick up some great deals. Yes there are long lines, yes it's in a shaky neighborhood, yes I would think twice about going there after dark but it's safe during the day. If you look out back you will see a lot of Shop-Rite trailers so this is all tied in with Wakefern somehow. But you go here for the deals! So have fun, take it as a challenge and go save some dough. ”
“ Americans LOVE to complain. Just read the 3 previous reviews of this place....nothing but whiney people complaining about this place and calling it "ghetto". Yet this place is ALWAYS crowded. True..the service is not what you would get at Whole Foods, but then you KNOW that cuz it's called "PriceRite". It's a DISCOUNT market. So set your expectations accordingly. There is no customer service counter or deli. That's how they can keep the prices so low--Hummus for 99¢! Organic honey for $1.99! Avocados for 59¢! But the place is clean, small enough that it doesn't take you an hour to get in and out, and the prices are so low, make ya wanna slap your momma. It's kinda like Aldi but way bigger and they carry many national brands. Plus, there are always at least 3 checkouts open. It's more like Save-A-Lot, but the quality of the private-label stuff is better. If you are really expecting a Whole Foods or Wegmans...then go elsewhere. And if you do come...stop complaining about nothing! I wish I had a market like this near where I live. ”
